Saturday night worship, Sturgis rally ends

Tonight we had 11 for worship at Hills of Grace.  Great to see 3 in the worship team tonight!  And we had a first time attender,  which is always good.  We have a steady core now, which is good.   This week our small group Bible study will start.  We are going to meet weekly in our home.  It sounds like we should have 7-8 present the first week.  That is exciting news!  We are anxious to get started discipling our group!

We have signed on for another 4 months at the school.  We have up to a year we can use the school facility, so we will need to start thinking about future plans.  Pray that we can find the right place!

Today ended the witnessing tent at the Sturgis Rally.  Over 1300 people made commitments to Christ during the 7 days the booth was open!  Many of those were from the Rapid City area.  Pray that we can help with the follow up and encourage them in their spiritual growth.  Hills of Grace small group and worship services would be a great place for them to plug in.

It's time to start the wheels in motion to plant other churches in the hills as well...many new Christians all over the Black Hills as a result of God at work during the rally!

Thanks to all of you that are praying for us.  It is critical to our success!

Feel free to pass the link to this blog along, or to those on facebook, they can join the Black Hills Missions group.

Until next time,

John
