Saturday night worship, Sturgis rally ends

We had another great worship service tonight at Hills of Grace.  We had 3 in the worship team again...tonight John played  several cool instruments.  Great to have Bob back on guitar, and of course Joe led worship.  Pray for them as they continue to bond as a band.

Tonight's custodian told me that the school had approved us continuing to use the school through the end of the year.  That is great news!  They will stop their rotation and he will be the sole custodian helping us each week.

We are planning for Ned and Joan Way to come join us for an evangelistic event in October.  They do a family program of illusions and entertainment, all directing the audience to Jesus.  Check them out at www.noway.org

We are also helping to bring the film "Fireproof" to Rapid City.  We are going to give free tickets to couples found through our block party, and will also be talking to the principal at Valley View about giving them to the staff at the school.  One of our goals it to develop a strong relationship with the school staff this year.

We had a good first small group study this past Thursday night at our home.  Great discussion, and nobody ran out the door when it was over...in other words, they all felt comfortable to stay and fellowship.

Quite a few people from the Rapid City area made a decision at the Sturgis rally...pray that we can follow up on them in a timely manner and that they will be receptive.

Also, pray for us to get space at the Black Hills stock show so that we can continue developing a Cowboy church in the Hills.

Pray for church planter pastors to answer the call to the Black Hills...it is an awesome place to serve God!

Until next time....

John
