Another worship service!

Tonight we held the 3rd worship service for Hills of Grace.  A few milestones tonight....Joe Savery, our new worship leader, did a fantastic job leading in worship.  He is working on increasing the size of our band.  Also, we took our first offering tonight.  Yes, it was small, but, it is neat to think about the fact that our church plant is not only starting to support itself, but also supporting other plants through the Cooperative Program and associational missions! 

This Thursday night we will be starting a small group Bible study.  We have several committed to attending.  Pray that this small group will grow as we continue to find ways to reach people in Rapid Valley through Hills of Grace.

Pray also that we will find God's man to pastor this group.  It is exciting to see God moving in awesome ways through this!

Our core team (Little's and Savery's) are hard at work encouraging and inviting new folks to come.  I am already looking forward to next Saturday night!

Today Connie and I drove through another area of Rapid City that needs a new work.  There is such a need for new churches in the Black Hills.  It is great being able to give my full attention to this now as my secular employment ended last Saturday.
